The national bird in Sri Lanka is Jungle Fowl. It’s biologically known as “Gallus”. It lives in forest hiding among bushes. This is similar to the cock lives in villages. The jungle fowl is very beautiful. Their feathers are golden in color and have long feathers. Its crest is dark red. It’s a mix feather and eats grains, leaves and insect.
